Students at Pershing County Middle School are working on gathering supplies for their upcoming book diorama projects. Community members are encouraged to donate supplies to the school, including boxes, shoeboxes, sand, craft materials, small figurines, fabric scraps, paper towel rolls and other reusable items that can be repurposed for the displays.
For this project, students will create dioramas based on scenes from books they have read. The activity is designed to encourage creativity, reading comprehension and hands-on learning.
