On Saturday, Jan. 17, the Pershing County varsity girls basketball team extended its home winning streak to seven games with a dominating 54-24 victory over Sierra Lutheran, improving to 17-5 on the season. The Mustangs controlled the game from start to finish, pulling away over four quarters and continuing a trend of wins. Eight of Pershing County’s victories this season have come by 20 points or more.
The Mustangs will return to action at home on Monday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. to play against the Battle Mountain Longhorns.
