Patrons visiting the local library this month can explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math at home with the arrival of 12 Penworthy STEAM-to-Go kits.
The kits, designed for all ages, cover topics ranging from dinosaurs and bird watching to brain training, phonics, math, and even movie trivia. Each kit is packaged for easy take-home use and may be checked out for four weeks, with a limit of one kit per patron.
Funding for the project comes from a federal grant through the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Nevada State Library and Archives. Library staff encourage patrons to stop by and check out a kit while supplies last.
