Mustang Youth Team Holds Halloween Monster Mash

Mustang Youth Team Holds Halloween Monster Mash
Families packed the Lovelock Train Depot for the Mustang Youth Team’s Halloween
Monster Mash Family Engagement Night on Oct. 18, enjoying games, music, and a candy tunnel during the festive community event.

The Mustang Youth Team (MYT) turned the Lovelock Train Depot into a Halloween wonderland

on Saturday, October 18, as families gathered for the group’s Halloween Monster Mash and

Family Engagement Night.

The three-hour event brought together children, parents, and community members for a night

filled with laughter, music, and creativity. Guests enjoyed making their way through the Candy

Tunnel, decorating their own treat bags, playing games, and getting their faces painted. Costumes

of every kind filled the depot as the crowd danced and played festive Halloween tunes.

All activities were free, and the spooky snack stand offered plenty of extra treats for purchase.

Organizers said the goal was to create a safe, family-oriented celebration that welcomed

everyone in the community.

“This was a safe, alcohol- and tobacco-free event for the whole community,” organizers shared

afterward. “We were thrilled to see so many families come out to enjoy the evening and make

memories together.”

The event was part of the Mustang Youth Team’s continuing effort to promote positive, youth-

centered engagement throughout Pershing County.
