Bring the Heat: Community Chili Cook-Off set for Oct. 4 at Grass Valley Community Center

Got a secret recipe and a competitive streak? The annual Grass Valley Community Chili Cook-

Off fires up Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grass Valley Community Center.

Cooks of all kinds - back-porch pros, family teams, and service clubs are invited to ladle out

their best and compete for Judge’s Choice, People’s Choice, Best Booth/Spirit, and Hottest Chili.

Be there at 11 a.m., the crowd helps decide People’s Choice by dropping a token at their favorite

booth.

Clubs, businesses, and home chefs are welcome; plan to bring plenty of chili for judges and

If you’re coming to taste, arrive hungry and come early popular pots go fast. The event runs
