The dedicated team at the Lovelock Animal Shelter wants to remind the community about how to properly get in touch with animal services, including boarding, surrenders, and adoptions.
To ensure timely and organized responses, anyone interested in these services should call the shelter and leave a voicemail with their name, phone number, and any specific questions or information. A shelter employee will return calls as soon as possible.
Shelter staff kindly ask that residents do not message employees through personal accounts or private phone numbers, as they are unable to respond to work-related inquiries that way.
While photos of adoptable pets are often shared on the shelter’s Facebook page, comments and direct messages are not monitored for official communications. The best and most reliable way to connect is always through the shelter’s main phone line.
“Thank you for your understanding and support,” shelter staff said. “We appreciate your help in keeping our communication clear so we can focus on giving the animals the best care possible.”
