Honoring Tradition: PCHS Alumni Association Keeps Legacy Alive Since 1917
Class of 1975

The Pershing County High School Alumni Association has been honoring graduates, supporting students, and building community ties for over a century. Established in 1917, the association now tracks more than 3,600 PCHS graduates, a number that grows with each graduating class added every June.

At the heart of the association’s efforts is its long-standing tradition: an annual banquet and ball that welcomes every graduate from every class. Whether you're a member of the Class of 1950 or the Class of 2024, if the association has your email or current mailing address, you’re invited to attend.

But the organization is more than just a reunion planner. Funded by $20 annual dues and generous donations, the PCHS Alumni Association awards scholarships each year to graduating seniors, including general and trade scholarships, as well as recognition for salutatorians and valedictorians. It’s a legacy of giving back that continues to make a difference in students' lives.

The association is open to all alumni, no matter where they live. With monthly meetings now held via Zoom, it's easier than ever for former Mustangs to get involved, stay connected, and support their alma mater.

This year’s annual alumni event celebrated the Class of 2025 and 1975 with a banquet on Saturday, June 8, bringing together generations of graduates for an evening of connection, celebration, and community pride.

For anyone who has ever called PCHS home, the Alumni Association is a way to keep that bond strong.
