The Pershing County Mustangs are charging into summer with serious momentum. The team launched its 12-week strength and conditioning program over five weeks ago, and it’s already producing results, on the field and on the attendance board.
The coveted Royal Mustang list features athletes who completed every workout during the school year through the end of the spring season. These dedicated students committed to lifting, sprinting, agility, and conditioning work, and showed up every single day. Their next goal? Finish the summer strong and earn the official Mustang merch. Coaches say it’s well within reach.
“This group is setting the tone,” said one Mustang coach. “Their effort and consistency will pay off come fall.”
