With music in the air and the spirit of fellowship flowing, several local churches came together on Saturday, April 12, for a heartfelt Ecumenical Service at Courthouse Park. The gathering featured music, choirs, shared prayers, inspiring messages—and a warm sense of community that lingered well beyond the final hymn.
After the service, attendees enjoyed a potluck breakfast with everything from pancakes and egg dishes to muffins, potatoes, and fresh fruit. The event was a collaborative effort made possible by volunteers from Cold Springs Community Church Lovelock Campus, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Grace St. Francis Community Church, and New Life Fellowship Church.
“It was a beautiful morning of unity,” said Judy Osmun of Grace St. Francis Community Church. “We’re grateful to everyone who participated, and we all agreed—this is something we want to continue doing.”
