Residents interested in learning more about geothermal energy development in the Lovelock area will have an opportunity to meet with project representatives during a community open house hosted by Zanskar.
The informal event will be held Thursday, July 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pershing County Community Center, 820 Sixth St. in Lovelock. A brief presentation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., but attendees are welcome to drop in at any time during the event.
According to Zanskar, the open house is designed to give community members a chance to learn about geothermal exploration in the area, ask questions, meet members of the project team and provide feedback. The event is open to the public.
