This year’s Lovelock Frontier Days theme is “Country Roads,” a concept selected by organizer Misty Moepono-Wood.
Moepono-Wood said she chose the theme because it reflects the country atmosphere she associates with Lovelock, particularly in the evening when the sky takes on shades of yellow and orange.
She said the idea was inspired by the community’s rural character and by the many visitors, vendors and participants who travel country roads to attend the annual celebration.
Frontier Days 2026 is scheduled for July 31 through Aug. 2 at Courthouse Park and will feature live music, a tractor pull, bike races, a parade, games and contests.
