On January 9, 2026, we lost our cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and wife, Veeta R. Rasco. She passed away surrounded by love and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Veeta found her greatest joy working in her flower gardens, where her patience and care brought beauty to everyone around her. She loved being outside in the warm sunshine and spending time with her cherished puppies at home. She was also known for her most amazing laugh – one that could fill a room and stay with you long after the moment passed.
She is survived by her loving husband Chuck Rasco; her children, Gina Vinci (husband Paul), Chad Gierhart (wife Megan), Cassie Podolak (husband Jody); her beloved grandchildren, Dino and Carrie Vinci; Lucas, Tyler, and Henry Gierhart; Addicyn and Parkyr Podolak; brothers, Willis and Don Hyde; and sisters Marla Caballero and Vanette Gierhart.
Veeta deeply loved and cherished her parents Carrie and stepfather Kenny and often spoke of how much she missed them.
Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be forever loved, and her spirit will always bloom in our hearts.
At Veeta's request, no services will be held.
